CareerWareer was built on a frustration. Everywhere we looked, career advice would say the same thing: optimise your keywords, mirror the job description, use the right format. All technically correct. None of it asking the more important question: what is this person's actual story, and is it coming through?
We kept meeting professionals who were very impressive in conversation but completely invisible on paper. Resumes that read like job descriptions. Candidates who sat down for interviews and sold themselves short, not from lack of ability, but because they were never shown how to talk about their own careers with the clarity a hiring manager needs.
So we built something different. Based in Singapore, CareerWareer was founded in 2021 to help people land jobs and pursue careers they are excited about. There is nothing quite like messages from clients saying they landed offer and how much it changed their lives, especially with the pay rise that often comes with it.
Since then, we have helped over 350 professionals land interviews and offers at Google, Meta, Grab, Visa, HSBC, EY, Salesforce, HubSpot, Shopee, the Singapore Public Service Commission Scholarships and more. We have done this across every career stage: early-career professionals seeking promotions, mid-career professionals ready to move up and senior leaders repositioning for what is next.
We come from corporate careers ourselves and have sat in hiring rooms. We have read thousands of resumes and profiles from both sides of the table, and we know what makes hiring manager stops and what makes them scroll past. That experience, combined with our experiences as Certified Career Services Practitioners from the National Career Development Association means the work we do is grounded in both practice and rigour.
But before any of that: we spend an hour with you. We ask about the roles you have assumed. The project no one else could have run quite the way you did. What you are proud of and where you are headed. From that conversation, we build a narrative that is specific to you, credible on paper and compelling in a room. The documents are the output.

Gladys is the person you will work with when you reach out, and that is very much by design. She leads client success at CareerWareer, working closely with every individual to surface what makes them stand out and shape it into a career narrative that hiring managers remember. She asks the right questions, listens carefully, and draws out the things you would not think to say yourself.
Beyond CareerWareer, Gladys is Deputy Chief of Staff at a global telco technology company, overseeing business operations, executive communications and account management. She is a LinkedIn Top Voice and co-author of Before The Good Things Come, a career book featuring insights from 25 executives on advancing your career, launched at Singapore's National Library Board.
Gladys holds a Specialist Diploma in Career Counselling from Republic Polytechnic, where she graduated top of her class. She is a Certified Career Services Practitioner with the National Career Development Association (NCDA). She has worked across Malaysia and Thailand, and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese, Malay, Thai and Indonesian, having passed the GCE 'O' Levels in Thai in 2022.

Behind every smooth CareerWareer experience is Jia Yi. As Head of Operations, she keeps everything running: from the website and internal processes to client support and platform improvements. Her superpower is making complex things feel effortless, and she takes real care in ensuring every client touchpoint is smooth, clear and genuinely helpful.
Outside of CareerWareer, Jia Yi works as a software developer and engineer, with a particular interest in building tools that make things work better. She also mentors and tutors students, helping them find their interests and build confidence early in their careers.
